John F. Haley

John F. Haley is a corporate finance partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, based in Miami with an additional office in New York. With approximately 28 years of legal experience, he advises sponsors, financial institutions, and corporations on cross-border and domestic corporate finance matters spanning energy, infrastructure, project finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity. His practice encompasses project finance, private and public offerings of debt and equity securities, secured lending, and structured transactions. Licensed in Florida and New York, John has represented clients throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia, with particular depth in energy and transportation infrastructure. He holds a JD from Fordham University School of Law (1996), a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago (1990), and a Certificate in International Relations from L'Institut d'Etudes Politiques, Paris (1989). He is fluent in both Spanish and French.
