Mike Tyson is facing a lawsuit seeking over $1.5 million for an alleged breach of contract related to his recent fight with Jake Paul. The lawsuit, filed on Monday in London’s High Court, claims Tyson and his company, Tyrannic, wrongfully terminated a promotional agreement with Medier, a company that markets the betting platform Rabona.

According to the suit, Tyson and Tyrannic terminated the deal, which had been signed in January, after accusing Medier of violating the terms of the agreement. However, Medier disputes this claim, asserting that the real reason for the contract termination was Tyson’s decision to enter into a new deal to fight Paul, a deal reportedly sponsored by Netflix.

The lawsuit alleges that Tyson’s actions caused Medier to lose more than $800,000 in fees paid to Tyson for services that were never rendered, as well as an additional $729,000 in wasted production and promotion expenses.

Although Tyson lost the fight, which was officially recorded as part of his professional boxing record, he reportedly earned $20 million for the event. The bout, which took place at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, drew more than 72,000 attendees, with millions more watching on Netflix.
