Lil Nas X’s Satan Shoes
Pop singer Lil Nas X shocked the world when he came out with the music video for his newest song Montero (Call Me By Your Name). The video features the singer giving the devil a lap dance and is said to be mocking the fact that religion believes that homosexuals go to hell. Though not unusual for Satan to be used in the music world, the Satan shoes that followed after were definitely unique. The shoes were refurbished Nikes with “666” on them as well as the pentagram and a drop of blood in the heel of each shoe. The shoes caused a major amount of controversy, with Nike suing Lil Nas X and MSCHF for using their shoes for the product.

Cardi B vs. Candace Owens
Conservative personality Candace Owens is no stranger to controversy, and when Cardi B’s controversial performance of her song “WAP” at the 2021 Grammy’s occurred, Candace made her comments. This leads to a heated Twitter exchange between the two, with Cardi B publishing a photoshopped tweet about Owens’ brother claiming that it was factual. Candace Owens quickly threatened to sue the rapper for defamation.

Kimye’s Divorce
Early in 2021, reality tv star and world-famous personality, Kim Kardashian, filed for divorce from her rapper and entrepreneurial husband of seven years, Kanye West. Kanye has had multiple public mental health breakdowns over the past couple of years, and Kim has always defended him and stuck by her man. But in February of 2021, she said enough is enough and officially filed for divorce.

Kobe Lawsuits
Almost everyone can remember where they were when they heard that beloved basketball star, Kobe Bryant, and his daughter had died in a helicopter crash. Since then his wife, Vanessa Bryant, has dealt with multiple lawsuits on his behalf. One came from Vanessa’s own mother who is suing the Bryant estate for money she says Kobe promised to give her before he died. The second was filed by Vanessa against the cops who took pictures of her husband and daughter’s bodies at the crash and posted them publicly.

Armie Hammer Being A Cannibal
This one has been discussed multiple times but is still just as shocking as the first. Actor Armie Hammer was accused of rape and sexual assault as well as being a cannibal. Allegedly, the actor asked for a woman to remove her rib so he could cook it in his smoker and eat it. Whether the allegations are true or not has not been determined, but just the mention of them was enough for the actor to be dropped from his agency, his publicist, and movie deals.
