Twice Burned discusses and thus alerts people about where and how burn injuries occur – the information is an alarm of sorts to help prevent these devastating injuries – and the book provides needed information for burn injury survivors and their caregivers. Caregivers are often a forgotten group. Mr. Samakow’s advice for caregivers has been applauded by numerous organizations.

The book details why burn injuries are different than those caused by many other traumatic events, it discusses the difficulties the medical profession has in treating these injuries, and why the cost for this care is so much more than treatment for other medical issues. The book is also a legal guide, and there is a section for attorneys to teach them about how to handle a burn injury case.

Mr. Samakow includes information that is unique for children burn injury survivors, he provides resources, and he provides a thorough roadmap for the legal process when someone is burned because of the neglect of others.

The “Frequently Asked Questions” and the “Should Ask Questions” section of the book provides important information and specifically points to issues and concerns that many might not initially think about.

Mr. Samakow’s national burn injury practice has taken him to over twenty states and he continues to be personally involved in every aspect of his clients’ cases, different perhaps than some attorneys, as Mr. Samakow gives every client his mobile telephone number and tells them that if he is awake, he answers his phone.

The book is free as a download from his website – www.nationalburnattorney.com.
