California Board of Prisons confirmed the news to CBS News on Friday. The board said Huffman was “released from the custody of the BOP on October 25, 2019,” citing a provision that allows certain inmates to be released early. She was released three days prior to the 14-day sentence being completed because the sentence would have ended during the weekend.

The embattled actress, wife of actor William H. Macy, had been found guilty in the college admissions prosecution of dozens of parents that allegedly bribed an admissions consultant (William Singer) to amend her daughter’s SAT tests.

Earlier this year in May, Felicity Huffman pleaded guilty to a count of conspiracy and fraud.

Furthermore, “Full House” actress Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli were also charged. They are among over a dozen set of parents that have not pled guilty yet in the “Varsity Blues” scandal.
