At Denver Wellness & Aesthetics Center, located in Littleton, Colorado, Dr. Michael Young believes that high-quality, effective healthcare is about empowering patients, and that begins with learning about their own health. As a board-certified family and lifestyle medicine physician, Dr. Young finds his greatest joy in practice is taking time to educate and collaborate with patients, helping each one achieve their healthiest lifestyle to maximize their quality of life.

Dr. Young attended the University of Louisiana, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medicine and Chemistry. He then completed medical school at Louisiana State University, obtaining his Doctorate of Medicine in 1998. Dr. Young completed his internship and residency at Florida Hospital (AdventHealth) in Orlando, Florida, where his training focused on many of the most common and debilitating chronic diseases, including high blood pressure, diabetes, coronary disease, obesity, COPD, heart failure, liver disease, and chronic kidney disease.

He is licensed by the states of Colorado and Florida and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.

Dr. Young is passionate about preventive care and has dedicated his career to helping others achieve their optimal health through preventative measures, lifestyle modifications, nutrition counseling, and other health strategies. He believes that education and prevention are key factors in improving overall health outcomes. Dr. Young also provides comprehensive primary care services for men, women, children, and adolescents. His focus is on chronic disease management, preventive care, and health maintenance. He is proud to provide his patients with a comprehensive approach to healthcare that addresses the physical, social, and emotional aspects of wellness.
