Cultus Artem is a luxury fragrance & skincare house established in 2015 by Holly Tupper. Headquartered in a historic building in San Antonio, Texas, Cultus Artem utilizes in-house production processes with a commitment to eschew today’s predilection for mass production and disposable possessions. With slow beauty as a guiding principle, Cultus Artem products are made by hand in small batches with minimal, sustainable packaging.
Each moisturizer can be used individually or layered as a trio for intense hydration and are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin or skin prone to inflammation. Reminiscent of the Japanese tradition of forest bathing, the earthy scent in Cultus Artem’s skincare comes from the elixir’s active ingredients, with no added fragrance or synthetic stabilizers.
As always, Cultus Artem skincare and fragrances are entirely botanically-derived. The products address specific hydration needs in a unique blend of pure botanical oils, vitamins, plant extracts containing anti-inflammatory components, antioxidants, and potent actives, such as 5-molecular weight hyaluronic acid, knotted sea kelp extract, shiitake mushroom extract, milk thistle extract and prickly pear cactus oil.
In line with the brand’s utmost adherence to waste mitigation, all three formulas are packaged in recyclable glass bottles, available from the brand’s site, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Beauty Habit and Ron Herman Japan for $165 USD each.
