HB: What does a cat-eye thread-lift work to address?
Patients wanting a more upwards tilt to the eye and eyebrow are great candidates for this non-surgical procedure. Many patients love the eyebrows and eyes of Bella Hadid and this procedure can give a patient more of that kind of look.
HB: Walk us through the treatment.
Specific points around the brow and eye are injected with local anesthesia after which small entry holes are made with a needle. The threads are then placed and then the brows and corner of the eyes are repositioned. It’s important not to overdo it because it can look unnatural. Once the tissues are in a good position, the ends of the threads are trimmed and the entry holes heal on their own.
HB: Who is a good candidate for a cat-eye thread-lift?
Typically people in their 20s to 40s are getting this done. Patients who are older need a slightly different kind of brow lift that can still be done with PDO threads. It’s important to understand the difference of anatomy and goals of each patient to determine the best treatment plan.

HB: What is the recovery process like?
Recovery is fairly easy. There can be some bruising and swelling for a few days. Patients are advised not to pull or vigorously rub their brows for a few weeks. Sometimes there can be some skin dimpling which usually goes away after a few days.
HB: What is the cost?
The cost of a Cat Eye Lift ranges between $1250 and $1750.
