HB: How do you assess patients when they are in need of your help?

What I really love is assessing a patient’s needs and being able to deliver a variety of different treatment combinations (some on the same day) to achieve their goals.

HB: How does the treatment process and procedure work?

We take a look together at what really speaks to them and what they hope to achieve. Once we have an understanding of this, we pick specific treatments to do in combination to get them to their goal. Combination treatment is incredible because it allows us to do more than one treatment in each visit (such as two lasers on the same day or filler and threads on the same day). This helps to get patients faster, more noticeable, yet still natural and beautiful results with minimal downtime and minimal office time. We plan around special occasions like weddings, birthdays, anniversaries so we can develop a short-term and long-term plan for them and walk them through the process every step of the way.

HB: Who would be the best candidate for this procedure?

Every patient benefits from combination treatment. Think of this like developing a solid workout plan. You don’t just focus on cycling or lifting weights when you’re coming up with the right plan to address your overall health and fitness goals, just like you don’t focus solely on one aspect of aesthetics. Aging has many components. It affects the quality of the skin, there’s volume loss, there’s contour and shape that needs to be maintained, and there is fat and bone loss, so we need to target all aspects of this to offer natural, beneficial results. More than one treatment is often needed.

HB: How does this procedure compare to others that are relative in nature?

It’s comprehensive. It puts everything together and patients feel good knowing that literally every component of aging and beauty are being addressed (even aspects they didn’t realize are just as important as the obvious ones).

HB: What is the recovery process like?

It really depends on the patient’s individual anatomy, their goals and what is needed in order to address these goals. Most of the procedures, even when done in combination on the same day, have very little downtime and most are back to their normal routines within a few days. We always talk through what to expect before anything happens.
