HB: What are biostimulating dermal fillers?

The novel use of resorbable bio-stimulatory molecules containing calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres that can stimulate the endogenous production of collagen resulting in increased skin strength, elasticity, and decrease in lines, wrinkles, and the appearance of crepey skin.

HB: How do biostimulating dermal fillers

work?

Superficial microinjections of calcium hydroxyapatite can be administered directly through needle injection or delivered through a small hollow tube called a cannula, to provide both volume replacement and collagen biostimulation, commonly for the neck and décolletage, as well as buttocks and thighs, elbows, or stomach areas to improve body contours and skin tightness.

HB: Who is a good candidate for biostimulating dermal fillers?

Anyone who wants improved skin tightness and a decrease in wrinkles.

HB: How does this procedure compare to others of the same nature?

This procedure relies on the stimulation of your body’s own collagen regeneration, rather than only on the temporary volumizing effects of other fillers.

HB: What does recovery look like?

Bruising and swelling is possible, like with any injections, but usually resolves within several days. Patients can resume normal activity right away.
