Was there a personal and/or professional experience that inspired you to open your practice?
Looking back, several experiences inspired the creation of the Naples Aesthetic Institute. First, growing up as the daughter of a pioneering female cardiologist had a profound impact. My mother built a successful woman-led cardiology practice in the Chicago suburbs and established the Women’s Heart Institute. Observing her achievements firsthand instilled in me the confidence to start my own practice, even though it wasn’t my original plan when I moved to Naples.
Another pivotal influence was my aesthetic fellowship at the Few Institute in Chicago with Dr. Julius Few. His concept of Continuum of Beauty, which seamlessly integrates surgical, non-surgical, and skincare treatments, was a revelation. This innovative approach has since become a cornerstone of my practice, guiding how I deliver comprehensive and balanced aesthetic care.
What was your mission at the start of opening your practice? Has it changed?
Our mission was simple: to create a boutique plastic surgery practice that provides patients with cutting-edge technology, advanced skincare, and both non-surgical and surgical aesthetic options. And that mission continues to drive us forward.
If you had to pick three words to describe the vibe of your practice, what would they be and why?
If I had to choose three words to describe the vibe of my practice, they would be boutique, relaxed, and authentic. Our boutique setting allows for a personalized and intimate experience, while our relaxed atmosphere ensures that patients feel comfortable and at ease. Above all, authenticity is key; I build meaningful relationships with my patients, who trust me with their well-being and aesthetic goals. They know me personally, so when I offer advice, they can be confident in its sincerity and integrity.
How did you come up with the name of your practice?
Naples Aesthetic Institute imparts what the business does, and implies a higher level of aesthetic medicine. We aim to demonstrate to the community our relentless pursuit of excellence in the services we offer and the care we provide.
What are the most popular services requested?
Neuromodulators and injectable fillers stand out as the most sought-after nonsurgical aesthetic treatments. When it comes to surgical options, breast surgery remains the top choice, encompassing procedures such as augmentation, breast lifts, and their combinations.
What is the future of your field?
I believe we will consistently push the boundaries of nonsurgical technologies, enhancing and complementing our surgical outcomes with innovative solutions.
What are you best known for?
While I am perhaps best known for my expertise in aesthetic breast surgery, my practice has evolved to place a greater emphasis on facial rejuvenation and treatments.
What is unique about your practice?
What sets our practice apart is that we are proudly woman-owned and led, which infuses our approach with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of our patient’s needs.
Are there any new services you are excited to offer?
I am focused on expanding the med spa offerings at Naples Aesthetic Institute. We’ve recently introduced a range of advanced treatments, including AquaGold, PRP, Sculptra, permanent makeup, and Face Reality skincare, to enhance our comprehensive aesthetic services.
What is one underrated service that doesn’t receive as much press as it should be?
In general, we don’t stress anti-aging aesthetic treatments enough. Surgery is the most permanent solution to aging; however, there are so many things we can do before and after surgery to maintain results.
