Glowing, clean skin is what we all aim to have. Granted this means that you must either 1) take amazing care of your skin or 2) are blessed enough to not have any sort of skin pigmentation issues. Usually, the first option is often the case, which is in part to the many products, skin rejuvenation treatments, and education available to you.
In the case of treatment options, the most popular ones include your generic facial and a facial peel. At Haute Beauty expert, Refine Health in Coral Gables, Florida, you can receive both treatments but there is one caveat to that. You must receive a facial before a VI facial peel, and this is why.
Think about it this way. If you don’t get a facial before a VI peel, you are essentially peeling your dirty skin and pores. A VI peel has certain chemicals that will make your skin purge, especially when it is dirty. When your skin is clean from a facial, then you are peeling clean skin.
Regarding a facial and the type of facial needed, anything with extractions is sufficient! Facials are based on time and customizations to your skin but all at Refine Health include extractions.

Now, onto the VI Peels, Refine Health offers three different kinds. The main difference between each are the chemical components involved. Here’s the type of peel that you’d get based on your skin type and concerns:
- The Advanced Skin – this is for the person with mature skin, fine lines, and wrinkles. It peels the superficial layer of your skin.
- Provision Plus – this is for all types of skin, especially with sun spots and scarring. It focuses on the brightening component while attacking the superficial lines and wrinkles.
- Purifying Peel – this is for acne patients. Whether you have cystic acne, acne-prone skin, or just oily skin, this peel will control your oils and keep acne at bay.
Do note that it is advised to avoid fillers on the same day as your facial and VI peel, but you can receive Botox on the same day. A dream day, we know. It is also recommended to stop tretinoins and retinol seven days prior to treatment.
Regardless of the peel you receive, your skin will begin to peel starting at the day two mark up until the fifth day. Along with your treatments, Refine Health will also provide you with a packet that includes 7-day’s worth of face wash, sunscreen, and cortisone for itchiness. And after that, you’ll be absolutely glowing!
