Everyone has their skin care goals, so it was no surprise that Erica Current, Owner of The Skin Room, a premier destination for skin treatments, based in Naples, Florida had glowing (skin) dreams of her own. As a Licensed Medical Aesthetician with a certification in Laser & Electrolysis, Current was on a mission and that was to help each client fall completely in love with their skin, just like she had.

Since the opening of The Skin Room, Current and her team have provided services that are 100% customizable, which have provided top-notch results to customers from both near and far. As they continue to see the results first-hand, we at Haute Beauty were interested to learn more; here is how The Skin Room came to fruition.

What inspired you to open The Skin Room?

The biggest inspiration to open my own practice was knowing that I could transform someone’s skin in a unique way but I needed my own space and freedom to be creative.

The Skin Room’s mission:

It was important to me that my clients achieved healthy skin while understanding my treatments and why they work. I wanted to educate clients on the importance of at-home care so they could maintain the results they receive inside the treatment room. My mission remains the same today.

How did the name, The Skin Room, come about?

I actually came up with it by accident! I was planning on going to dinner with the person I was dating at the time. When he came over he couldn’t find me in my house, I was in my office working on my business when I heard him call my name. I yelled back in response that I was in the office trying to come up with a name for the skin room. That is when I decided…it was The Skin Room.

An underrated service that doesn’t receive as much press as it should:
