R&B singer and performer, Ciara, is trying her hand at the beauty world with her latest endeavor. Introducing OAM Skin, Ciara’s new skincare brand, which stands for On A Mission. Finally, you, too, can have glowy, ethereal skin like Ciara. The stunning starlet spoke to Vogue Beauty and shared all of her coveted beauty secrets, and walks us through her daily skin routine.

Ciara tells Vogue that she first got into skincare when her best friend and makeup artist, Yolanda Frederick, guided her toward taking it more seriously, “Understanding how game-changing it was when I went from using any kind of face wash and lotion on my skin to actually using skin care, I could see the difference and the consistency in my skin, which was really important.”

OAM comprises of five skin and eye-focused products – a cleanser, serum, eye revitalizer, moisturizer and brightening pads. With three of the products making up a Tri-C Pro Peptide complex with vitamin C and peptides empowering each product. Ciara says that these, “…help with brightening of your skin, the glow up of your skin.” To buff away her dead skin cells she then uses the OAM Brightening Pads, and moves onto working on her eyebrows. “I feel like you don’t have a face without [your] eyebrows being right,” she says. Next, the singer applies the OAM vitamin C serum which is formulated to release micro-doses of the antioxidant throughout the day. Ciara discusses how the older she’s gotten she’s learned to embrace her natural beauty, “[I want to feel like] I’m just as fly, just as beautiful without the dramatic makeup looks that I do get to do a lot.”

The singer finishes off her look with some light make-up, including a priming serum and NYX’s correct and conceal palette. She adds a little bit of bronzer, blush, and highlighter for some warmth, followed by some gloss, lip liner, and light mascara. As for her final touch? She sprays a bit of her husband Russell Wilson’s R&C Fragrance for a fresh scent.

The skincare collection is available for purchase at www.oamskin.com
