Can you imagine how much younger you would look without sagging skin and forehead wrinkles? Haute Beauty expert Dr. Jhonny Salomon speaks with Haute Beauty on how an endoscopic brow lift is just what you need to make your brows and eyes look years younger.
An endoscopic browlift is a procedure to reposition and reshape the brow while weakening the forehead and frowning muscles. Here’s what you need to know about this standard procedure that many get to elevate the brows that often lower with aging.
Haute Beauty: Can Botox or fillers reverse the effects of a brow lift?
Dr. Jhonny Salomon: You shouldn’t do both. If you are getting Botox or Fillers in the brow portion, get it done six months before considering a brow lift. An endoscopic brow lift weakens the forehead muscle, so the need for Botox is not as urgent after undergoing this procedure. Regardless, if you are interested in an endoscopic brow lift, do wait for Botox or fillers, or vice versa.
HB: What is the downtime?
JS: About one week of downtime. You will see swelling in your upper lid and lower lid. After one week, you should be ready to return to your day-to-day activities.

HB: Do you pair endoscopic brow lifts with other procedures?
JS: Very often, an endoscopic brow lift is paired with a facelift, neck lift, and lower lid surgery. Generically, anything that is done on the face can be combined with an endoscopic brow lift. Do note that an endoscopic brow lift focuses on the upper portion of the face, whereas a facelift, neck lift, or fat grafting focuses on the lower part of your face – making for a beautiful combination.
HB: What are the benefits of an endoscopic brow lift?
JS: The benefits include:
- Durable
- Improves the forehead line
- Long lasting – usually lasts around ten years
- Little to no downtime involved
- Least amount of scarring and the best aesthetic results
