Traditionally, tightening skin required excision of skin and long scars. Now with Bodytite, offered by Haute Beauty expert Dr. Jeffrey Lee, you can avoid the scars, downtime, and the cost of surgery. As the benefits present themselves, we wonder about the results. Based on the sheer number of safety measures that are built into the platform, patients have only had success stories but is that the only factor? To find out the specifics, whether it is the before or after care required or requested, Haute Beauty sat down with Dr. Lee to find out. Here’s what was discussed:
Do you recommend your patient loses weight before the procedure?
Before Bodytite, we actually advise patients remain stable. Losing weight after liposuction and Bodytite will only help your final results.
What happens if you gain weight after your Bodytite procedure?
We always recommend keeping a healthy and balanced lifestyle but if you happen to gain some weight after Bodytite, it will be like gaining weight as if you didn’t have Bodytite. That being said, most people after liposuction (which is included in Bodytite) do not gain weight as much in that treated area.

Can Bodytite aid in other procedures like liposuction?
Bodytite is a radiofrequency skin tightening procedure that can help with liposuction. In patients who are not good candidates for liposuction alone, it is usually because their skin is too loose. Bodytite can make more people better candidates for the more minimally invasive procedure. It is essentially the one additional step that comes before liposuction. It also involves a cannula so the access incisions are the same as liposuction alone.
Are the results of Bodytite comparable to any other surgical body contouring procedure?
It’s hard to compare Bodytite to any other surgical procedure. While not as powerful as a tummy tuck, it can bridge the gap of those who are not good candidates for liposuction alone. It is more along the spectrum of liposuction results but a little bit better.
