Whether it’s the EmSculpt Neo to contour your body or the HydraFacial MD treatment to cleanse your skin, the number of machine-based treatments available in both the cosmetic and skincare world is endless. Now, as they are all quite popular, the treatment you proceed with it all depends on your needs. To find out which machine-based treatment is most requested and why, Haute Beauty sat down with our Haute Beauty experts. Here’s what they had to say:
Richel D’Ambra | Day Spa | Philadelphia
The HydraFacial MD facial treatment is our most requested machine-based treatment. It uses patented technology to cleanse, extract, and hydrate the skin and can be further customized to treat a variety of different skin concerns including acne-prone skin, hyperpigmentation, well-aging, and more. A client would request this treatment if they want immediate, dependable results with no downtime.

Currently, the most requested treatment at SpaGo MedSpa has been the Emsculpt Neo. There are over 30 peer-reviewed papers that demonstrate a 30% permanent reduction in fat and a 25% increase in muscle mass in four easy 30 minute treatments. It also tightens skin. That is 3 treatments for the price of 1. Our most commonly treated area is the abdomen. However, we can treat glutes, arms, inner and outer thighs, calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps. When the abdomen is treated, it will reduce that lower abdominal fat and love handles that is so difficult to reach with exercise. The high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy contracts about 90% of muscle fibers and will work on any muscles in the area treated, including back muscles when the abs are treated. It delivers the equivalent of 4 weeks of high-intensity training in one 30 minute session.
Patients experience improved posture and reduced back pain. The Core to Floor program combines the Emsculpt Neo with our Emsella chair. The Emsella Chair enhances hip muscles, pelvic floor muscles, glutes, and upper thigh muscles through clothing. It treats urinary incontinence, intimate health, and erectile dysfunction. If done correctly, there are no side effects and radiofrequency is evenly distributed so there are no lumps and bumps such as what is commonly seen in Coolsculpting.

Alison Falada, Licensed Esthetician & Laser Specialist, Chicago Breast & Body Aesthetics | Anti-Aging | Chicago
Our most requested machine-based treatment has definitely been the Morpheus8 by InMode for skin tightening. Additionally, it’s also used to improve acne scars. Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency technology to stimulate collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis. By targeting the deeper layer of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be rejuvenated to reveal plumper, more youthful-looking skin! Most patients need about 3 treatments to see noticeable results, which gradually improve over time as the collagen production continues. Our second requested treatment is Sculpsure, a “lunchtime” permanent fat reduction treatment that gets rid of up to 24% of fat in the treated areas. The areas most treated are the abdomen and the flanks. People need a minimum of two treatments to see the results within 6 weeks. The underlying trend we’re seeing is people who are looking for minimally invasive cosmetic solutions without having to undergo surgery.

Dr. Tahl N. Humes | Medical Aesthetics | Denver
“Laser Genesis is the most requested machine-based therapy at VITAHL,” said Dr. Tahl Humes, medical director and founder of VITAHL Medical Aesthetics. “A series of this skin-rejuvenating treatment heats the dermis, which is directly beneath the skin and helps to produce new collagen and elastin. Every skin type can benefit from this treatment that treats texture, redness, fine lines and overall skin health. While there’s no downtime after the treatment, the area might look a bit rosy for an hour or so following the treatment.”
