My greatest achievement:

Aside from my family and raising three wonderful children, I truly am excited about opening my own Medical Spa and offering my services to the greater Erie, PA community.

What is the future of your field?

The field is growing and we have great techniques and technologies that will, of course, continue to improve. I have also witnessed patients becoming more knowledgeable about many treatments and a bit of that is driving growth. I do believe that we will continue to develop protocols that marry efficacious techniques and products with one another to achieve predictable and evidence-based results.

The biggest misconception about my field is…

The biggest misconception is that all medical spas are the same. While there are some features that may be consistently viewed as aesthetically sound, there are many other procedural outcomes that clearly are not. As a consequence, people often fear these results. We spend a lot of time reassuring patients that those outcomes can be avoided with an artistic eye and judicious use of treatments.

What are you best known for?

I’m known for caring for each person and taking the time to actually address his/her concerns. I offer many treatments so that we are ready to fully manage most skin conditions.

What is your most memorable patient reaction?

This occurred recently. A 73-year-old lady wanted to try fillers in her nasolabial folds and marionettes and absolutely cried tears of joy following the procedure.

What sets my practice apart?

We are not interested in volume or over-treating. My practice focuses on individualized care and honest information about treatments offered. Our patients’ experience is far different from any other medical spa. It’s a place where they can relax and feel welcomed.

What I love most about my profession:

I love seeing patients’ responses following procedures, especially fillers. They are immediately transformative and gratifying.

Career-defining procedure?

Aside from cosmetic injectables, my first laser was the Aeorolase Neo Elite. I can accomplish so much with this compact YAG laser that it continues to surprise our happy patients.

The new service you are excited to offer?

I will be using a nitrous oxide machine in the near future so that procedures such as RF Microneedling, plasma treatment, and ablative fractional laser therapy are more tolerable.

Non-surgical advancement you’re excited about:

We have just received the honor of bringing QWO to Erie. QWO is the only FDA-approved injectable that treats cellulite. It’s thought that QWO works in 3 ways: releasing fibrous bands, redistributing fat cells, and stimulating the growth of new collagen. We are achieving incredible results even following one 15 minute treatment although 3 are recommended.
