Learn more about body expert Dr. Jeffrey Ayers in this introductory Q & A.

My greatest achievement:

My greatest achievement is being married for 35 years to my wife Julie.

What is the future of your field?

More robust technology that will offer better results with less discomfort.

The biggest misconception about my field is…

Anyone can do it. A physician, NP, PA, RN may technically be qualified to provide treatments – but that doesn’t mean they have the “aesthetic eye” to be excellent.

My most requested procedures:

Natural Lips, cheeks, and chin/jaw procedures.

What are you best known for?

I am best known for keeping it natural especially when I perform lip enhancement.

What is your most memorable patient reaction?

My patient jumped off my treatment table and gave me a hug and a kiss.

What sets my practice apart?

Our spa is called Gallery of Aesthetics. My art collection is on display throughout the spa. Some go as far as saying, my personal art gallery has the benefit of a state-of-the-art medical spa. In addition to displaying the art, we will be hosting local artists at a reception. This will give artists the opportunity to introduce their works to our community while possibly selling their art from our space.

What I love most about my profession:

It is creative. My creativity helps people reach their skincare, beauty, or health goals.

Career-defining procedure?

Less talking and lots of listening. I know that isn’t a procedure – but it is part of the process to actively listen. If I am unable to deliver the result’s my patient desires, I will then refer to those who have that talent.

What new services are you excited to offer?

I was deliberate in what I wanted in my spa. My primary goal was to offer effective and affordable treatments with no pain or minimal discomfort. Services include MOXI, BBL, Virtue RF, and Motas to name a few.
