If you’re missing teeth, you may have a difficult time speaking and chewing. In addition, you may feel self-conscious every time you smile. While dentures can resolve these issues, you may be hesitant to receive them because of the hassle and discomfort they often bring.

Dentures are typically placed with traditional dental implants that require bone grafting and months of healing. Fortunately, Dr. Amin Samadian can use the All on Four dental technique. Compared to traditional implant surgery, it involves fewer implants and can save you a great deal of time. All on Four can provide you with a full set of teeth without multiple surgeries and general anesthesia.

What is All on Four?

All on Four takes your dentures and places in most cases four dental implants in each of your arches so that your implants can integrate with your jawbone and create a firm hold. Fewer dental implants allow for less discomfort and faster healing times and they can avoid aggressive bone grafting and sinus procedures in severe bone loss cases while delivering the same result.

What are the reasons for All on Four treatment?

In the cases below, both financially and cosmetically it makes more sense to take all the teeth out and give the patients one implant-supported prosthetic that can bring them optimal symmetry, color match, smile design, and function.

  • If you have extensive tooth loss
  • You are a good candidate for dentures yet are worried about the common issues
  • Patients have multiple missing teeth and multiple loose teeth
  • The remaining teeth are not good support to receive conventional bridges

What can all on four provide you?

All on Four dental implants can give you a full set of teeth with only four implants that support a full arch of non-removable replacement teeth. This procedure is a great way to get a full set of teeth without having to undergo multiple surgeries.

What does recovery look like?

You’ll come home with a temporary denture, and it’ll take about six months for the implants to integrate with your bone. During this time, Dr. Samadian will set up intermittent appointments to monitor your progress. Patients with remaining teeth that require grafting may experience a longer recovery.

What results will I see?

Once the implant has fully integrated, you’ll return to our San Fransisco or East Bay office so Dr. Samadian can place your final denture. We’ll prescribe antibiotics and an antimicrobial mouthwash to prevent infection as you enjoy your lovely new smile.

*Individual Results May Vary*
