A Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is an extremely popular procedure as it is a great option for patients who want to reshape the buttock, create volume, and make it prettier as well as perkier! A main concern of the BBL procedure is scarring, though it is minimal it is still a worry people have, especially in sunny South Florida aka bathing suits central. Dr. S. Alexander Earle further proves his commitment to his patients as he has recently created the SoBe Butt Lift Upgraded to relieve the stresses of scarring.
What is the Upgraded SoBe Butt Lift?
The Upgraded SoBe Butt Lift is the SoBe Butt Lift on steroids. Regardless of the name, it is a surgical procedure where fat is removed from one area of the body via liposuction that has excess and stubborn fat to spare. Once the fat is removed, it is processed and purified before being placed into the buttocks through an injection. The reason many flock to this specific procedure is the attention made to details (scarring).
Are the results any different than a regular BBL?
The results of the Upgraded SoBe Butt Lift are the same as the regular BBL. The main difference is that there are no visible scars in the back or above the buttocks. The incisions are hidden in the axillary crease (armpit) and in the intergluteal cleft commonly known as the ‘butt crack.’
Even the smallest bikini can easily hide these two incisions as it is upgraded to have even FEWER visible scars. Instead of one in the middle of the back under the bra line (SoBe Butt Lift), This one has the incisions in the upper axillary crease (armpit). You can see where the new incisions are in the Instagram post below. The red arrows are the new SoBeBL UPGRADED incisions.

Is the recovery time different than a BBL?
The same as a BBL, but fewer incisions to recover from. You’ll be given specific instructions for your recovery that include staying off your butt for at least six weeks. While at home, you’ll have a special pillow to sit on that will aid in healing and keeping the new fat in tact. You’ll have bruising, pain, and swelling after surgery which will take a few weeks to go down.
Is Dr. Earle only performing the upgraded SBBL at this time?
No. He does the standard BBL, SoBe Butt Lift (South Beach Butt Lift), and the UPGRADED SBBL.
