Are you tired of trying on a piece of clothing where your cellulite shows through? Even though cellulite is natural in a women’s biology, it still makes women feel uneasy and insecure. For years, cellulite treatments have surfaced but none have left an imprint. That changed when QWO, the first injectable, gave amazing results to treat moderate to severe cellulite. Even more, the injectable is non-invasive and has minimal downtime. Haute Beauty sat down with Reana Myers MMS, PA-C of Careaga Plastic Surgery to learn a bit more about how QWO works and its impact.
Haute Beauty: What is QWO and how does it work?
Reana Myers: QWO is the first and only FDA-approved injectable for moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks of adult women.
HB: How many treatments are needed for maximum results? Do you have to keep up with it?
RM: The treatment consists of 3 treatments, 21 days apart. Results are assessed 28 days after the 3rd treatment.

HB: Will the cellulite come back?
RM: QWO works by breaking down the fibrous bands of connective tissue that connect the muscle to the skin causing the dimpled appearance of the skin. Since QWO breaks down these fibrous bands the results are long-lasting.
HB: Why has the QWO injectable made such an impact in the aesthetics industry?
RM: QWO has made a great impact in the aesthetic field because there are currently no other non-surgical options as effective in treating cellulite.
HB: What future technologies (if any) are you excited for?
RM: A future product that I am looking forward to is a new toxin that should hit the market soon with longer-lasting results.
