Most celebrities who glam with TV-ready makeup probably don’t expect to sweat very much. But most celebrities aren’t WNBA player Candace Parker. The Chicago Sky forward deals with cleansing off sweat from daily workouts and layers of makeup from appearances on Inside the NBA. As a result, her major skincare concern involves breakouts: “When I wear makeup on television and work out in the same day, I often times get bumps,” Parker told Glamour. “I brush down and use gel on my baby hairs, and I use water or pomade or something like that, so I’ll get bumps around the edge of my face from my hair products.”
To keep her skin looking great, Parker sticks to her skincare routine comprising of various cleansers, moisturizers, skin tints, and more (not to mention, she does a quarterly laser treatment). Read on to discover the trusty products this athlete uses to maintain her glow.

To Cleanse
After waking up, Parker cleanses away her night cream with the Rodial Dragon’s Blood Cleansing Water. However, TV appearances call for Neutrogena: She preps for makeup application using the Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes to clear her skin, but she removes the heavy layers with both the wipes and Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover. For non-televised games, Parker opts for the Rodial Vitamin C Brightening Cleansing Pads after playing basketball.
To Clear Pores
At her hotel room, Parker opts for a clay mask to unclog her pores. Specifically, she’s a fan of Rodial’s masks, such as the Dragon’s Blood Mask. “I’m a drugstore or Whole Foods mask buyer! I walk into Whole Foods and I’m like, “Oh, that looks cool!” so I have all different ones,” she said. Typically, Parker applies her mask on the two days that she appears on TV each week. That way, she knows her makeup is off.
To Moisturize
Though Parker doesn’t use an eye cream, she nourishes the area with the Rodial Dragon’s Blood Eye Masks. Before bed, she applies the Rodial Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Night Cream. For smooth lips, she simply uses the Carmex Classic Lip Balm.
To Tint
Clearly a lover of Rodial products, Parker loves using the Glow Drops to achieve an instant glow. “They come in regular, which is almost like a gloss and adds an instant glow to your skin, or they come in a bronzer, which I’ll sneak in in the winter when I don’t have as much color,” she said. Noting that she doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, Parker applies the drops before a workout or on days that don’t require a TV appearance.
To Treat
A fan of laser treatments, Parker likes to treat herself at Skin Laundry about once every three months. “One of my friends actually got me into it because I don’t have a large amount of problems with my skin, so it’s more prevention, instead of reactive,” she said.
