Photo Credit: ShutterstockPerhaps you have been thinking about a plastic surgery procedure for a while now. For some, it takes upwards of two years before they are ready to make the call to a plastic surgery office to schedule a consultation. For others, they may pick up the phone or request a consultation online right away. What is important to remember is that the consultation experience will be unique for each patient. Our personalities often dictate what we are willing to share during a consultation, but as you search for the right board-certified plastic surgeon to perform your surgery, know that whether you are seeking a surgical or a non-surgical or minimally invasive procedure, you should know that plastic surgery will not change who you are. It will enhance, accentuate, and it will rejuvenate, and it will likely increase your confidence.
For your consultation, you will want to come equipped with a list of questions for your surgeon. Often the practice team will supply you with a pen and paper so you can write down the surgeon’s responses but bring your list with you. There is so much information shared during your consultation that it is easy to forget something. Note how comfortable you are with the surgeon and his team. Is the office clean and welcoming? Your instincts will serve you well. Click here or watch below to experience a typical consultation at Claytor Noone Plastic Surgery.
