Highlight quotes:
“A big takeaway from 2020 is to not take life for granted. In my practice, I’m a very hospitable person from the culture I come from, when somebody walks into your practice, you give someone a handshake or a hug and I really had to hold myself back from doing all that because of the circumstances.”
“I come from humble beginnings, my family and I came to the U.S. in 1998 with $3 to start our life. This great country offered my family and me the opportunity to grow and excel. It started with a smile, but now it’s actually changing peoples’ lives because I also focus on asleep and airway, quality of life, which then impacts your overall, general health, and beauty as well.”
“I wanted to add that I also finished my residency for asleep airway and TMJ about two and half years ago. I’m also currently finishing my holistic dentistry residency which is going to be finished in March. I will focus on how to treat patients more holistically and how to use spoken up restorative materials.”
“We have a machine called Solea Laser that is able to numb the tooth and cut the tooth at the same time without the patient getting any shots. Not only does it kill the bacteria but it also numbs the tooth.”
“One of the most important things that we do is a total assessment of the body and health of each patient that comes to our practice. We focus on evaluating the tongue, if there are missing or crowded teeth, airway related concerns, sleep issues, TMJ issues, we are here to address all that.”
“Before you put your child on ADHD medications which again, is treating the symptom not really the root cause of the problem. I would recommend taking a sleep test to see how your child really sleeps to see if they are getting a good quality of sleep at night.”
“In this video, the child is holding his breath. He’s not breathing and he’s gasping for air. He’s holding, he’s holding, he’s holding, he’s holding. If you see that and you know your significant other, your spouse, or your child, this is not normal. This child stopped breathing for that amount of time that he was holding his breath. In turn, it actually impacts the entire system in his body.”
“It’s no surprise that maybe ADHD/ADD has a cause and maybe that cause has to do with the quality of the breathing and sleeping overnight. As you can see again the quality of sleep could be related to the tongue restriction, airway breathing deficiency that impacts their sleep and causes them to have ADHD related symptoms.”
“My practice is non-invasive, non-pharmaceutical, and very much reversible and this is exactly what I want to be able to teach my patients. I’m a huge advocate of them, and I want to make sure that they know all their treatment options presented to them, and the pros and cons of not doing the treatment in the short-term and long-term as well.”
