HB: What treatment options do you offer to improve skin texture?
We offer several treatments for skin texture, but our newest device that helps to improve skin texture is Sofwave. Sofwave is a breakthrough ultrasound technology that delivers natural results, yet noticeable wrinkle reduction. It will improve laxity and tighten the skin as well.
We also offer other treatments such as chemical peels, micro-needling, Laser Genesis, Pico Genesis, Halo Pro, Clear and Brilliant, and injectables. Your Board-Certified Dermatologist will recommend a treatment that is right for you based on your age, amount of sun damage, skin type, and the cause of alterations in texture. Other considerations include downtime, cost, timing (i.e. wedding planning) and your overall expectations.
HB: How does Sofwave work?
Sofwave’s ultrasound energy works by passing through the top layer of the skin and heating the mid-dermis at just the right depth and temperature to stimulate new collagen production, giving your skin a more youthful look. By targeting the mid-dermis, there is no damage to the underlying structures such as the bones, facial nerves, facial fat and blood vessels.

HB: What are the common issues that relate to poor skin texture?
The main causes of poor skin texture include unhealthy diet, alcohol consumption, sun exposure, lack of sleep and dehydration. You can promote a healthy skin texture by cleansing regularly, wearing sunscreen, limiting alcohol consumption, getting enough sleep, and eating a diet rich in omega-3 and vitamin C.
HB: How much does Sofwave cost?
The average Sofwave treatment costs $2,500 for a full face and neck. Other areas of skin laxity and wrinkling on the body can be treated as well such as the abdomen, knees and chest- the cost will differ based on area. 1-2 treatments are recommended every 1-2 years.
HB: What is recovery after Sofwave like?
One of the amazing benefits of Sofwave is that it requires no downtime. You can return to back to normal activities immediately after treatment!
