HB: Who is a good candidate for these laser procedures?

Everyone!  This is a good treatment for patients that have sun damage to the face, hyperpigmentation, scars, redness, and fine lines/ wrinkles and even patients that don’t have any of the above.  It is a procedure that can be used to address a number of skin issues but is also great for maintaining great skin.

HB: How do you work with patients to achieve the desired outcome?

We have the Vectra skin analysis system which helps identify and give objective values to certain skin characteristics like brown spots, redness, pores, and fine lines/wrinkles.  We try to also encourage good skincare at home to reinforce the skin’s progress from the IPL/laser treatments.
