The Facial Jade Roller: My Everyday Ritual

Wellness March 12, 2018 By Giordana Spadei

Daily rituals are an act of self-care. In my case, practices like: acupuncture, eating well, exercising, getting enough sleep, and jade rolling! My addiction with the Jade Roller basically lies in how soothing it is to place the cold stone on my face as soon as I wake up.

The jade roller has been a skin-care staple for empresses and the upper echelons of Chinese society since the 17th century. This ancient beauty tool is my skin’s best-kept secret. In addition to the more spiritual act of dispelling bad energy, jade rolling has many beneficial uses as a form of facial massage. Hence the recent popularity of this little tool.

What it is:
The jade facial roller is a Chinese beauty tool that has been used for thousands of years and is made out of natural jade stone.

What it does:
The smooth rolling action helps manipulate the toxins through your lymph network while toning your facial muscles.

The jade stone is really good for evening your skin tone, for cooling and calming the skin.

How to use:
-Start in the middle of the face and roll outwards across the cheeks.
-Move to the t-zone and eyebrows in an upward motion and across the forehead.
-Move below the lower lip and roll downward across the chin.
-Use the smaller end for more delicate areas—like the undereye area.

Seems like you should try it. Order yours from our e-shop at www.delaheart.com.  And remember, always apply the jade roller in an upward motion!
