Thanks to the new Bloom Blow Dry Bar, glamour girls who live in San Francisco’s West Portal neighborhood no longer have to go outside of their area to get a great blowout in a chic setting when they get ready for events and galas. The salon’s founder and CEO Dawn Hahn, a Bay Area native whose long and luscious locks are the perfect advertisement for her business, lives in the neighborhood with her entrepreneurial husband. After she noticed the lack of blow dry bars in the community and how far some of her neighbors traveled to get their hair done, she opened the gorgeous Bloom Blow Dry Bar. Here’s why we’re gaga over it:

The decor: Beauty isn’t just about you but the salon too. We love a salon that looks good while making us look good too. Bloom Blow Dry Bar does just that with soothing colors and art that complement the 1,000-square-foot space.

The products: You won’t find any subpar hair care products at Bloom Blow Dry Bar. The salon uses UNITE products, which are incredibly healthy and free of sulfates, parabens, gluten, Sodium Chloride, DEA and MEA. They’re also vegan and color safe while still managing to smell incredible.

The bowls: Bloom Blow Dry Bar features top-of-the-line Euro style shampoo bowls with the most comfortable in-bowl head rest to ensure no neck cramping or discomfort.

The beverages: You can enjoy complimentary beverages, such as espresso/lattes and Mighty Leaf Teas and other beverages like soda, regular coffee, and gourmet waters while being pampered.

The tech offerings: iPads are positioned at every station and have access to Wi-Fi, assorted magazines, books and the Bloom Blow Dry Bar look books. To make booking appointments as stress-free as possible, Bloom Blow Dry Bar offers a free iPhone and Google Play app for quick and easy appointment booking.

The garden: This beautiful, small garden and private patio in back is ideal for parties.
