Dr. Tina Abraham is a board-certified adult and pediatric allergist and immunologist who completed her fellowship from University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center July 2018. She was chief of her allergy immunology fellowship in Cleveland with numerous publications and research experience. Dr. Abraham completed her internal medicine residency and was an internal medicine chief resident as well at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. She completed her medical school training at Michigan State University and undergraduate training at Wayne State University where she received her bachelor of science degree.
Dr. Abraham is a Michigan native who specializes in the treatment and management of an extensive spectrum of allergic, respiratory and skin disorders in both adults and children, including asthma, seasonal allergies/hay fever, sinus problems, postnasal drip, chronic cough, recurrent infections, immunologic diseases, rashes, hives, angioedema, eczema, as well as food and drug allergies. Through close collaboration and communication, Dr. Abraham’s patients are empowered to make better healthcare decisions as we together formulate an individualized evidence-based treatment plan which takes into account the specific needs of each patient.
My 9 year old daughter has severe allergies. After trying many medications repeatedly recommended from the pediatrician, we decided to give Dr. Abraham a try. My daughter was extremely nervous and read more... scared of getting poked. From the moment Dr. Abraham walked into the room, my daughter lit up. The two had an instant connection. Dr. Abraham listened to our concerns, and discussed the "pokes" without making them a big deal. She gave us all the options and allowed us to make decisions without pressuring us one way or the other. She also calls just to check in during peak allergy seasons to see how Eleanor is doing. We look forward to our appointments with her and her staff. Eleanor considers them friends of hers. My husband (stubborn) even intends to start seeing Dr. Abraham as he has suffered years with allergies. We give Dr. Abraham 5 out of 5 stars across the board and highly recommend her!!
Dr. Tina Abraham is an amazing doctor! She was recommended by my sons' (ages 12 and 14) pediatrician to treat their allergies. Her knowledge and manner are unmatched. Dr. Abraham tested, quickly diagnosed, and read more... developed a plan. Her kindness makes both of my boys incredibly comfortable. My children are so comfortable with Dr. Abraham they don't hesitate to ask her questions. Her answers are age appropriate so they understand. My family cannot say enough good about Dr. Abraham. She's an example of a leader and role model to all young people.
