What inspired you to open Alchemy 43?
I've spent my entire career helping customers look and feel their best. My true passion is enhancing people’s natural sense of confidence. I spent the first decade of my career in the cosmetic and skincare business, working for brands like MAC Cosmetics, Benefit Cosmetics and Nordstrom. For the past 10 years, I have been in medical aesthetics, where I started working for Allergan as a Botox/Juvederm and Latisse Business Development Manager. I feel like taking care of others in this way is my calling and, in turn, has become my life’s work.

What's your mission?
My hope for the brand is that we become THE trusted name in the category for impeccable natural results and best-in-class client experience. I saw an opportunity and a white space in how consumers approached non-invasive aesthetic services such as Botox and fillers. I wanted to create a setting for people to come and feel pampered within an excellent client-focused experience that highlights both convenience and comfort while still feeling like they are in the hands of true clinical experts. At Alchemy 43, we view expertise through the lens of specialization and training, and we are laser-focused on a handful of services. It's all we do, all day, every day.

How did you come up with the name of your practice?
Alchemy is a seemingly magical process of combination, creation and transformation. And there are 43 facial muscles.

1. Botox | Alchemy 43 microtreatment: "Hello, Bright Eyes"
Hello, Bright Eyes is a Botox-based microtreatment that targets fine lines & wrinkles for a refreshed and natural look.
Why? Botox is our #1 most popular microtreatment - Alchemy 43 has treated over 10k clients with Botox. Upper face Botox is the most common among our clients - treating the crow's feet, the 11s (between the brows) and the forehead. Botox helps not only to smooth fine lines & wrinkles to help our clients look and feel more refreshed but also prevents future ones from forming. When repeated facial expressions are made with time, dynamic lines can turn static (visible without expression). By relaxing the muscles with a repetitive treatment regimen, Botox works to stop lines before they even start!
2. Lip Enhancements
Alchemy 43 microtreatment: "Perfect Pout"
Why? Lip filler is the most common filler-based microtreatment we perform. Many ways to augment the lip area with Hyaluronic Acid fillers exist. Depending on your individual treatment goals, this service can add volume to the lip's body, define the lip's border or smooth the skin on the lips. It can also help balance the lower face for natural, subtle-looking results! The results can vary depending on what type of filler is used for this treatment and how much; some clients prefer a softer filler such as Vollure or Volbella that provide less volume than Juvederm Ultra. We always offer complimentary consultations prior to treatment so our practitioners can dose you according to your individual aesthetic goals. We find that clients who are trying filler for the first time gravitate towards this microtreatment as a starting point for our other filler-based microtreatments.
Lip Flip
The Lip Flip is a microdose of Botox applied to the upper lip, relaxing it for a defined and pronounced pout without adding volume.
Why? This treatment is a great introduction to enhancing the lips. It adds definition to the cupid's bow without adding the plumpness or volume that comes from fillers. If you'd like a subtle boost to your upper lip - this treatment is perfect for you!
3. Cheek Filler | Alchemy 43 microtreatment: "Well-Rounded"
Well-Rounded is a filler-based microtreatment that contours and defines the cheekbones.
Why? It is an amazing treatment that can add shape and dimension to the upper face. Volume loss is natural and occurs over time throughout the aging process, so clients who would like to restore that volume are the perfect candidates. Additionally, when the cheeks are contoured, they can act as lifting support for the rest of your facial features. For example, filler in the cheek area can sometimes lift the nasolabial folds (smile lines), creating a smooth and youthful result.
The future of your field?
We continue to see accelerated growth in the industry from new users. As the dated stigma around injectables becomes more and more obsolete, we see new clients starting to visit us regularly for preventative benefits, as well as new clients who now understand that when done by a well-trained clinical expert, the work can be totally natural and refreshing. The future of the category includes the innovation of new tools and products, the continued growth of users, and more accessibility.
