She attended college at Florida State University receiving degrees in Biology and Chemistry. She then completed her DMD degree at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. From there, Dr. Hagan continued her education completed a general practice residency program at Staten Island University Hospital. Since then, Dr. Hagan has practiced all aspects of dentistry including pediatric dentistry, General Dentistry, Cosmetic dentistry, and Implants.

What is your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement is by far my two beautiful daughters. Second has been opening Native Dental Jersey City as a startup. Native dental was a huge leap of faith and I am so proud of the beautiful work we do, the service we provide to our patients, and above all our beautiful and kind staff that has supported the office and helped us grow into the successful brand we are today.
What is the future of your field?
I foresee dentistry as becoming more accessible and technologically advanced. I believe the rise of digital dentistry and 3-D printing will change the way we as dentists work and are able to efficiently restore the health and beauty of a patient's smile.
What is the biggest misconception about your field?
Dentistry hurts! At Native Dental, we have so many options to relieve the “pain” of a dental visit as well as the anxiety associated. From relaxing essential oils, Nitrous oxide analgesia to IV sedation and general anesthesia we have the capability to treat any patient with dental fear and anxiety.
What are your most requested procedures?
Our office at Native Dental is a true family practice. Dr. Hagan does many routine dental procedures, as well as, teeth whitening, clear braces, dental veneers, and full mouth rehabilitation for patients of all ages.
What surgical advancements are you most excited about?
Implant dentistry and the advancement of clear aligners are both extremely exciting in our field. We are now able to restore form function and beauty using these cutting-edge and advanced techniques to improve a patient’s appearance as well as the feeling and comfort of a healthy smile.
What are you best known for?
Above all else, Dr. Hagan is known for her compassion sensitivity, and ability to provide even the most difficult surgical procedures to patients that have extreme dental anxiety. Dr. Hagan is wonderful with children as well as adults and geriatric Dentistry so she has become known in the community as a well-rounded dentist that can treat the entire family.

I love being a healer and I have been given the gift of restoring health function and beauty one smile at a time.
What is your career-defining procedure?
O.R. dentistry and continuing education in orthodontics and occlusion continue to shape my practice of dentistry and I love every minute!
What new services are you excited to offer?
Our office is currently providing all digital impressions. We are excited to offer clear aligners, teeth whitening, and smile makeovers completely digitally providing our patients with digital models of their smile makeovers before the work even begins.
