Get To Know Anti-Aging & Cosmetic Expert Dr. Morad Askari

Dr. Morad Askari is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over a decade of experience in plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed general surgery and plastic surgery training in Los Angeles, California at the University of Southern California where he trained with world-renowned surgeons in Beverly Hills. After completing another fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, a center of excellence in medical education and practice, he moved to Miami, Florida, where he worked as an associate professor of plastic surgery for six years at the University of Miami before starting a private practice.

Establishing my private practice after a decade of being employed as part of academic institutions as well as group private practices.

The future of my field is:

Cosmetic Surgery Tourism

The biggest misconception about my field is:

Plastic Surgeons only do cosmetic surgery while 50% of my practice is dedicated to reconstructive surgery post-trauma, cancer, burn and etc.

My most requested procedures are:

On the cosmetic side: Rhinoplasty ( Nose Job), Breast Augmentation and Brazillian Buttock Lift.
On the reconstructive side: Breast reconstruction after mastectomy from breast cancer.

What are you best known for?

I have the best bedside manner and take the time to understand patients needs, wants and struggles with their plastic surgery needs, whether elective or non-elective.

What is your most memorable patient reaction?

During one of my medical missions to Africa, I did numerous cleft palate

What sets my practice apart:

Using principles of anti-aging medicine to address the process of aging from its foundation while using cosmetic surgery to reset the signs of aging.

What I love most about my profession is:

We help boost patients’ self-confidence by finding a new or restored look.
