My greatest achievement:

Becoming a husband, father, and a plastic surgeon.

The future of my field:

Only getting better and better. New technology and techniques are being developed that allow surgeons to do more with less downtime and recovery. It's really an exciting time to be in plastic surgery.

The biggest misconception about my field is:

The most common misconception is that a cosmetic surgeon is the same thing as a plastic surgeon. Anyone can call themselves a cosmetic surgeon. Some plastic surgeons call themselves cosmetic surgeons as well but there are a lot of other people who call themselves a cosmetic surgeon and have no appropriate training for it. The law is lenient and does not say that you must be appropriately trained in order to do certain cosmetic surgeries. On the other hand, a trained PLASTIC surgeon has gone through the rigors of being trained properly and going through all the necessary steps to be able to safely provide patients with proper techniques which are safe and effective.

Most requested procedures:

Breast augmentation, Breast Lift, Abdominoplasty, Liposuction, Facial rejuvenation, Botox, Filler.

What surgical procedures are you most excited about?

Breast implant technology is just getting better and better. Reducing the risk problems both short term and long term, while maintaining a soft and natural look.

What are you best known for?

A lot of patients are surprised at how comfortable they felt during their consultation. At baseline, it's an anxiety provoking experience but I try to do my best to make the whole experience a good one and not like your typical doctor's visit. Patients routinely tell me how easy I am to talk to and how honest I am with them.

What is your most memorable patient reaction?

I have received hugs, candy, chocolate, and hand written cards, but my most favorite reaction is when I see a transformation in the patient. I sometimes don't even recognize a patient because they come in and are completely different person. These patients tell me that the surgery helped their self confidence which then helped them dress and live their lives with more confidence and a whole new outlook. It's always amazing to see the domino effect that can sometimes happen.

What sets my practice apart:

When it comes to being a doctor, I am both old school and new school. I am progressive and advance with the new technologies and techniques to keep me at the cutting edge of plastic surgery. I am, at the same time, very old school in my approach to patients. That means that will be there every step of the way. It means that I will pick up the phone if you have an question at 3am on a Friday. And it means that I personally check in on you during your recovery process. Not every practice is this way but I believe it is the way patients should be treated and so it's the way I treat my patients.

What I love most about my profession is:

It's really about the patients. Seeing their journey from the very beginning through surgery and recovery and then seeing their excitement when they see their new and improved face or body is extraordinarily gratifying for me.
