HB: What are Nova threads?
Nova threads are threads made of absorbable PDO sutures that are placed into the skin to lift sagging skin and create new collagen formation.
HB: Do you prefer it to other methods?
There are many methods to try to pull up sagging skin including using volume to fill the skin and lasers to inspire tightening. This method is unique because it actually uses a mechanical pulling of the skin in an upward manner to lift sagging skin. Further, with the insertion of the threads collagen Is formed around them. This has a dual effect of pulling up the skin and forming collagen in order to maintain it.
HB: Who is a good candidate?
People that are starting to see there skin sag and want a little lift. For example if you are starting to see the development of jowls or deepening of the nasolabial folds you are good candidate.
