How Skinly Aesthetics Became A Blueprint For Modern Beauty

From facial balancing to body contouring, Dr. Dmitriy Schwarzburg has become a go-to expert for patients seeking refined results without the surgical side effects. As the founder of Skinly Aesthetics, he blends cutting-edge techniques with a deep respect for anatomy and a “less is more” philosophy. His approach? Elevated, precise, and intentional. His results? Subtle, stunning, and anything but one-size-fits-all.

Was there a personal and/or professional experience that inspired you to open your practice?

Yes. During my early years in clinical medicine, I was struck by how often aesthetic treatments were approached without true medical oversight or artistic nuance. I saw firsthand how patients were either overtreated or left dissatisfied due to a lack of precision or understanding of anatomy. I founded Skinly Aesthetics to change that - to create a practice where evidence-based medicine, artistic refinement, and individualized care converge. It was important to me that patients not only feel confident in their results, but in the integrity of the entire process.

What was your mission at the start of opening your practice? Has it changed?

The mission was, and still is, to elevate aesthetic medicine with integrity. I wanted to offer natural, evidence-based results without the overdone look. That philosophy hasn’t changed - in fact, it’s only grown stronger as my practice evolves with new technologies and more sophisticated patients.

If you had to pick three words to describe the vibe of your practice, what would they be and why?

Elevated. Precise. Intentional.

Elevated, because every element - from the treatments to the experience - is curated with sophistication and purpose. Precise, because our work is rooted in anatomical accuracy and evidence-based technique. Intentional, because nothing is ever rushed or cookie-cutter - every recommendation is made thoughtfully, with the patient’s long-term aesthetic in mind.

How did you come up with the name of your practice?

“Skinly” represents both the foundation and the artistry of aesthetic medicine - skin being the canvas, and the treatments we offer being the tools to refine and elevate one’s natural features. It’s modern, minimalist, and aligns with our brand ethos.

What are the most popular services requested?

Facial dermal fillers, skin tightening treatments, non-surgical buttock enhancement, and body contouring. These services are popular because they deliver visible results without surgery or significant downtime.

What is the future of your field?

The future lies in regenerative aesthetics and combination therapies. Patients are demanding more natural, long-lasting results with minimal intervention. Treatments that stimulate the body’s own collagen, like exosomes or micro-coring paired with injectables, are the future.

What are you best known for?

I’m best known for achieving natural-looking enhancements using advanced filler techniques, precise facial balancing, and high-level customization, particularly in nonsurgical buttocks enhancement. Patients also trust me for being honest - sometimes the best result comes from doing less, not more.

What is unique about your practice?

Our practice blends Ivy League medical training with an individualized, boutique aesthetic experience. I perform every procedure personally so each patient receives my personalized care. Everything is designed around safety, subtlety, and science. We don’t follow trends - we set the standard.

Are there any new services you are excited to offer?

Yes. We’ve expanded our advanced injectable offerings to include non-surgical penile, butt and breast enhancement using a custom mix of fillers. These procedures provide significant yet natural-looking volume and contour without surgery or extended downtime. As patient demand grows for discreet, customizable body enhancements, these treatments are redefining what’s possible in aesthetic medicine.

What is one underrated service that doesn’t receive as much press as it should be?

Skin tightening treatments like Micro-coring or biostimulatory procedures like Radiesse and Exosomes. People underestimate how much tightening can be achieved non-surgically with the right candidate and protocol.

What is your role at Skinly Aesthetics?

I’m the co-founder and co-owner of Skinly Aesthetics alongside Dr. Dmitriy Schwarzburg. We built the company together, and I’ve been behind the business side of the practice from the very beginning. My focus is on the daily growth and long-term development of the brand—everything from operations and office design to marketing and strategy.

What inspired you to take on such a major role in the business?

This practice has been a dream in the making for over a decade. I supported Dmitriy full-time through his undergraduate studies, medical school, research, and hospital residency—working on my own throughout those 11 years to help build the foundation for our future. I always believed in our shared vision to create something meaningful and successful, and I was right there at the start, finding office space in Manhattan, designing our clinic, and taking care of every business responsibility so Dmitriy could focus on becoming the doctor he is today.

What are you most proud of in your journey?

I’m proud that Skinly Aesthetics is not just a medical practice—it’s a brand with purpose and identity, built from the ground up. Seeing it grow year after year and knowing how much went into it—personally and professionally—is deeply rewarding.
