Facial Slimming Benefits
There are many ways to tackle jaw contouring if you are seeking a more chiseled appearance to your face. Botox is one of the most minimally invasive ways to slim down your jaw. Neurotoxins work by paralyzing the muscles, therefore, minimizing the size of the masseter muscle.
Botox for TMJ
Painful headaches and tension in the face are also a result of constant jaw clenching and TMJ. By injecting a neurotoxin, these muscles are relaxed and can no longer clench.
How It Works
Neurotoxins can be injected into the masseter muscle of the jaw to help contour the jawline by slimming the appearance of the muscles. This technique is also used to treat TMJ or in patients who grind their teeth at night.
Treatment can be performed with any neurotoxin such as Botox, Xeomin, Jeuveau, or Dysport. Treatment typically requires a total of 20-60units of Botox and lasts about 3-4 months.

Aftercare
