The greatest achievement in my career thus far has been establishing a boutique practice that reflects my personal and unique approach to plastic surgery. This approach is based on integrity, honesty, precision, and innovation. My clients love their natural results.
The future of my field is:
The future of plastic surgery will always lie in innovative surgical techniques and non-surgical treatments. I strive to implement these techniques into my practice on a continual basis.
The biggest misconception about my field is:
The biggest misconception in plastic surgery is vanity. In my experience, it has little to do with vanity. Most patients just want to feel good about the way they look and desire realistic natural results.
My most requested procedures are:
Although I offer the full gamut of aesthetic plastic surgery including facelifts, neck lifts and eyelid surgery, my most requested procedures include tummy tucks and breast enhancement. I often combine these procedures and customize them to each individual patient.
What surgical advancements are you most excited about?
Blending non-surgical treatments with surgery lend itself to superior results with minimal scarring.
What are you best known for?
I find that being one of the only female plastic surgeons in Naples has really set my practice apart. Women and men are comfortable and impressed with my gentle, honest approach in their care.
What is your most memorable patient reaction?
My most memorable patient reaction was one day after doing a mommy makeover for a patient of mine. Despite her expected discomfort one day after surgery, she looked in the mirror and cried with happiness. She had forgotten what her body was before children. It was truly a special moment.
What sets my practice apart:
Many practices separate to a certain extent, their surgical practice from their medical spa. My practice truly encompasses both surgical and non-surgical rejuvenation. There is a seamless continuity between my spa patients and my surgical patients.
What I love most about my profession is:
Plastic surgery is an art. No two patients are alike, and no two procedures are the same. I love applying that artful approach to create a meaningful change in my patients' lives.
Career defining procedure?
Revision breast and body surgery. In Naples, our patient population is more seasoned. Many of my patients have had two or more breast or body surgeries in the past so I quickly became adept at complicated revision surgery.
What new services are you excited to offer?
We have really expanded our skin spa over the last year. I love incorporating skincare into my surgical practice. Our practice offers SkinPen Microneedling, TempSure for the face, neck, and body, as well as the new VI Peel.
