What is your greatest achievement?
Merging two of my passions: full facial restoration and wellness at my Manhattan practice. I am fortunate to have both Russak Dermatology Clinic and my medical spa Russak+ Aesthetic center, to be able to combine medical and aesthetic dermatology and provide my patients with comprehensive full-body care in one luxury setting.
What is the future of your field?
Personalized care, being able to tailor treatments to each patient individually.
What is the biggest misconception about your field?
The two biggest misconceptions:
- That we are only pimple poppers – tell that to my Melanoma patients who see me every 3 months for skin cancer screenings, that quite literally save their lives.
- That cosmetic procedures always result in a fake look. My goal is to enhance a patient’s natural beauty with the amazing medical aesthetic advancements that exist. When good cosmetic work is done, nobody can even tell.
What is your most requested procedure?
3D Facial Restoration. There are many factors that contribute to an aging face, including loss of volume, texture changes, formation of deep-set wrinkles and under-eye hollows, etc. My signature 3D Facial Restoration method is a customizable combination of neurotoxins, dermal fillers, skin tightening and resurfacing procedures that results in a natural, lifted and refreshed appearance to address all signs of aging.
What surgical advancements are you most excited about?
I am most excited about the fact that I can prevent the need for surgery, something many patients come to me searching for.
What are you best known for?
Natural results. My work results in a refreshed, rested and youthful appearance; never overdone.
What is your most memorable patient reaction?
“I finally look as good as I feel!”

The people I meet every day, and being able to see them throughout all stages of their lives.
Career defining procedure?
My career is not defined by a procedure; it is literally an evolving field that constantly changes and advances as we gain more knowledge into the science of anti-aging.

I’m excited for advances in stem cell rejuvenation and restoring our own body's ability to rejuvenate itself.
