One of the most recognizable faces in her generation of supermodels, Gigi Hadid just introduced her own makeup line in partnership with beauty behemoth, Maybelline.
On Sunday night, Hadid took to Instagram to break the news to her 36 million followers. The announcement took the form of an artsy, 1970s-inspired image, in which she leans in faux fur and retro orange shades over a table cluttered with lipsticks, brushes and concealers.
“A year in the making,” the model captioned the post. While the details of the collection are still to come, it appears that Hadid has committed to the beauty sensitivities that have turned her into a vintage-loving-yet-super-cool trendsetter. The line seems replete with golden and nude shades as well as the occasional dashes of pink that create a smooth yet radiant complexion.
Hadid’s inaugural beauty venture comes some two years after she became the face of Maybelline, and only days after the debut of her third ready-to-wear collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger.
