The last several days have been quite noteworthy for Rhianna.

On Sept. 8, the pop icon released her much anticipated – and long time in the making – Fenty Beauty collection under the slogan "Beauty for All." Debuting in 17 countries, the line, which bears the singer’s surname, strikes with its inclusivity. Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, for instance, came in the jaw-dropping 40 shades. Nine of them are already sold out at Sephora.

Teen-focused Affinity Magazine shared a photo of Fenty Beauty’s stock on Twitter, commenting “The dark Fenty Beauty foundation shades are sold out everywhere! This is for all the makeup brands who think the dark shades won’t sell well.”

Amid the hype, which Rhianna has built around her beauty brand for several months, she opted to launch the whole of her inaugural line, instead of teasing with limited releases of selected products. In addition to foundations, the Work performer has created Killawatt highlighters, lip luminizers, shimmers, powders,  concealing trios and cheek-highlighting brushes. The long wait seems to have paid off.

“I wanted a color that looked good on all skin tones … it’s really important for me in every product,” Rhianna told reporters at the New York event that marked the collection’s debut. “There are so many different shades and undertones. You just never know so you want people to appreciate the product and not feel like ‘It only looks cute on her.’ ”

Only a couple of days later, Fenty Beauty products appeared to illuminated the faces of the models who walked down Rhianna’s Fenty x Puma Spring 2018 collection at New York Fashion Week. Amid heaps of pink glitter, Rhianna’s futuristic athletic wear claimed the catwalk after BMX motorcyclists opened the show with a series of daring somersaults.
