Make Your New Year’s Eve Plans with Coldplay and Jay-Z at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Have plans for New Year’s Eve yet? Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas may have your plans wrapped up, that is, if you can get an invitation. The newest resort, which plans to open in December, is celebrating its world premiere opening by ringing in the New Year with a multi-day celebration featuring solo and mash-up New Year’s Eve headline performances by Grammy award-winning artists Coldplay and Jay-Z. The collaboration is officially dubbed “Viva La Hov featuring Coldplay and Jay-Z.”

The invite-only event will feature Coldplay and Jay-Z playing separately, followed by a mash-up performance. We can only hope that Swizz Beatz, who is featuring both Coldplay and Jay-Z on his new album “Haute Living,” will be on hand to make the mash-up performance complete.

Can’t get an invitation? Revelers on the Strip will also share in the excitement as the once-in-a-lifetime performances are broadcast live on the resort’s 65-foot digital marquee overlooking Las Vegas Boulevard.

The resort plans a Dec. 15 opening.
