Supermodel Gisele Bündchen Sells New York Penthouse

Brazilian supermodel, Gisele Bündchen, has something new to celebrate in her life—the beautiful model has reportedly sold her penthouse in New York City’s swank West Village.

While it is unclear who has agreed to buy the supermodel’s penthouse, or at what price, the last official listing price of her home was for $4.5 million, a significant drop (more than 50 percent) from the original price tag in September 2007.

The penthouse, which is a triplex with two bedrooms, has appeared to be somewhat of a challenge for Bündchen to sell—she originally listed it for $10.9 million, then took it off the market, changed brokers, and then relisted it before finally selling the residence for only slightly more than the $3 million she paid for it in 2002.

The penthouse is 1,700 square feet, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a wraparound terrace, a deck with a Jacuzzi and spectacular views of the Hudson River. Bündchen owns a townhouse nearby which she also has on the market for the price of $13.95 million.

In addition to the sale of her West Village penthouse, Bündchen and her New England Patriots boyfriend, Tom Brady, are expecting their first child together.
