This Teen-Founded Women’s Golf Brand Is Giving Back to Women Worldwide

Featherie and (RED) join forces for a limited edition golf collection combining performance, style and support for global healthcare programs.

Featherie, the fashion-forward performance clothing brand, has teamed up with (RED) for a limited-edition capsule collection: (FEATHERIE)RED.

At thirteen, a young golfer hit a wall: too big for kids’ performance wear, too small for women’s. Her only options were “too big” or “too small,” and suddenly, clothing wasn’t fueling her game; it was distracting from it.

That golfer was Kate Korngold. So she built Featherie, performance essentials that fit girls and women exactly as they are, with no compromises.

Performance Apparel with Style

Founded in 2023, Featherie creates fashion-forward golf gear, crafting pieces that connect the sport to personal style and lifestyle without compromise.

Featherie has grown from Korngold’s closet fix into a women’s and girls’ golf apparel brand using technical features for functional performance wear.

According to the brand, every Featherie piece is engineered with lightweight performance stretch fabrics for a comfortable fit throughout the game. The garments include mesh ventilation panels for cooling and UPF 50+ protection, so golfers may be protected and cool even on hot, sunny days,

They also feature discreet tee holders to place extra gear as well as ball storage pockets. Zippered items have auto-lock zippers so that once they are zipped, they stay zipped.

All of these performance-related features are included in clothing items designed with clean, modern silhouettes. Often, bottoms will feature tapered waists, and skirts possess curved tulip hems or flattering A-line cuts.

Style is a part of the design as much as functionality, while the game is integrated into every piece for options that reflect the wearer’s personality without compromising comfort or skill.

Golf Clothes for a Cause

This month, Featherie launched a limited-edition capsule collection with (RED), the organization founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver to fight AIDS while strengthening global health systems.

(FEATHERIE)RED  includes three styles with (RED)’s signature red color details.

The Michelle Pleated Skort is a classic white pleated skirt with built-in shorts and a pop of red piping beneath the waistband. It includes discreet golf ball storage and tee holders.

The Erin Half-Zip Sleeveless Shirt, also in white, blends Featherie’s sleek mock neck style with its signature tulip hem. It features an auto-lock zipper and includes red piping along the zipper, as well as on the back, for contrast.

Lastly, the Gabriella Windbreaker is a white water-resistant windbreaker with a covered zipper and an encased waistband. It includes a tee holder, and the hood can be concealed with snaps at the collar. Red detailing can be seen along the zippered pockets and in the hood cord.

Supporting People Through Fashion

Featherie was founded to solve Kate Korngold’s personal struggle to find fitting, fashionable teen golf performance wear. Since then, it has grown into a brand supporting girls and women in finding comfortable and functional clothes for the course.

From the proceeds of the collection, 25% will be donated to support the (RED) organization’s efforts to bring important global healthcare programs to communities in need, including women and girls disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS.
