Bugaboo x Stella McCartney: The Luxury Stroller Collaboration Every Stylish Parent Needs

Bugaboo and Stella McCartney's 2026 limited-edition stroller collection — featuring the Fox 5 Renew, Dragonfly Plus, and Butterfly 2.

Stella McCartney has spent her entire career proving that style and responsibility are not opposing forces—that you can build something beautiful without compromising your values. The Bugaboo x Stella McCartney collection, launching September 15, 2026, is that argument applied to the one category where design-minded parents have historically had to make exactly that choice. It is a limited-edition capsule of three strollers and a coordinating accessories range, and it is, without question, the most considered thing to happen to the baby gear category in years.

The collaboration pairs Bugaboo’s 25 years of engineering expertise with McCartney’s signature design language — and the reference point is one of her most iconic creations. The Falabella bag, named after the designer’s childhood pony and long a symbol of cruelty-free luxury, provided the visual vocabulary for the entire collection. Its distinctive diamond-cut chain, originally inspired by a horse bit, is woven into the canopy. Vintage gold medallions and the Stella McCartney logo anchor the hardware. The result lands in a Tobacco Brown colorway with Saddle Brown accents in vegan leather alternatives — masculine hardware meeting softer finishes in a way that feels entirely deliberate and entirely McCartney.

Three strollers make up the core of the collection. The Bugaboo Fox 5 Renew is the flagship — the ultimate go-anywhere, consciously crafted stroller, priced at £1,850. The Dragonfly Plus is the city stroller, balancing comfort with a compact footprint. The Butterfly 2 rounds out the trio as an ultra-compact travel option. Each integrates Stella McCartney’s aesthetic into Bugaboo’s engineering without compromising either. Alongside the strollers, the accessories range introduces a footmuff, tote bag, and — making their debut in the Bugaboo lineup — matching adult and toddler mittens in the brand’s signature Stella McCartney monogram. Accessories start at £120.

Sustainability is embedded throughout, not bolted on. Fabrics are crafted from recycled polyester made from plastic bottles and colored using water-free dye technology. Hardware incorporates a blend of bio-based materials and recycled aluminum. Bugaboo, which became a B Corp in 2023 and has committed to net zero by 2035, and Stella McCartney, who has never used leather, feathers, fur, or skins in any product since launching her namesake brand in 2001, were always going to find common ground here. The collection feels like the result of two brands that actually share values rather than ones that simply agreed to share a logo.

Fronting the campaign is Poppy Delevingne — model, entrepreneur, and first-time mother — photographed against natural landscapes in a series of images that capture parenthood as something personal and unhurried rather than performative. “Motherhood has completely changed the way I see the world,” Delevingne said. “You suddenly realise how important it is to surround your children with things that are made with care and full of joy.” McCartney, who conceived the collection as a mother herself, put it more simply: “This collection is for every mum who wants to bring her own individuality and playfulness into parenthood.”
