Bvlgari Studio Kicks Off New York Fashion Week With A Star-Studded Soirée
On Wednesday evening, Bvlgari Studio took New York by storm with an unforgettable celebration at Skylight at The Refinery, marking the highly anticipated launch of the new Bvlgari Tubogas jewelry collection. Set against the historic backdrop of the Domino Sugar Factory in Williamsburg, the event was a tribute to both tradition and innovation, much like the iconic Roman Maison itself. The 130-year-old building, with its industrial charm, perfectly embodied the essence of Bvlgari’s latest collection—a fusion of timeless craftsmanship and cutting-edge design.
Bvlgari Deputy CEO Laura Burdese and North American President Herve Perrot welcomed guests, including a dazzling array of celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Dakota Johnson, Paris Jackson, and Nicky Hilton Rothschild. The evening was a true celebration of art, culture, and jewelry, as attendees were treated to performances by musician Masego and light artist Christopher Bauder. Their work fostered a creative dialogue that mirrored the spirit of Bvlgari Studio, a co-creation platform introduced earlier this year in Seoul.
As guests traced the evolution of the Tubogas collection—from a flexible gold stripe conceived through experimentation in the 1940s to its current status as an iconic jewelry line—they were immersed in an inspiring craftsmanship journey. Antoni Tudisco’s digital campaign further enhanced the unveiling, showcasing the collection’s fluidity and signature seamless lines, achieved without soldering.
The venue’s atmosphere was electric, with DJs Nancy Whang of LCD Soundsystem and Myles Hendrik providing a soundtrack that carried the event from golden hour to late evening. A standout of the night was “THE WAVE,” a kinetic light sculpture by Christopher Bauder that brought the gold spirals of the Tubogas collection to life. The sculpture blended effortlessly with a dance performance directed by ballerina Isabella Boylston.
Masego’s live performance, a fusion of Soul, R&B, and Jazz, added an extra layer of energy to the event, perfectly complementing the bold and innovative nature of the Tubogas collection. His genre-defying music, performed against the backdrop of Bauder’s luminous installation, echoed the dynamic and experimental spirit of both the Bvlgari Studio and the jewelry it celebrates.
The Bvlgari Tubogas collection will continue to captivate audiences as the journey moves to Bvlgari’s Fifth Avenue flagship, where select pieces from the collection will be on display, further cementing Bvlgari’s legacy of innovation and excellence in the world of luxury jewelry.
