Game, Set, Match: Miami Serves Up A Delicious Return With Citi Taste Of Tennis

The Citi Taste of Tennis returned to Miami’s JW Marriott with a star-studded lineup of chefs and tennis pros. From cooking demos to delicious plates, the night was a perfect blend of culinary delights and sports making for a fantastic evening, to say the least. The celebration was hosted by former no. 1 tennis player Arantxa Sánchez Vicario and Chef Diego Oka, Executive Chef at La Mar by Gastón Acurio.

Founded and produced by AYS, Citi Taste of Tennis started in 2000 and allows fans of famous tennis players to enjoy one-of-a-kind dishes crafted by top chefs alongside some of the biggest faces of the tennis game. It is the iconic kick-off to tennis events around the world.

Citigold guests began the evening with a fireside chat hosted by Tennis Pros Nick Monroe and featuring Vicari and continued their experience with delicious plates from Miami’s top chef.

Mingling and dancing were heightened by the up-beats of music by DJ Mad Linx and the #1 Bruno Mars Tribute Band, 24k Magic. Among much entertainment that was offered throughout the night, tennis star Alexander “Sascha” Zverev and Chef Diego Oka wowed guests with a cooking demo on-stage – turning up the heat and preparing guests for the dishes that would be served.

To sip, guests were offered crafted cocktails from Sipsmith Gin, the refreshment of bubbles from Zonin USA, and a Love All cocktail curated from VOSS Water in a bedazzled bottle.

The night brought together fans, stars, and legends in one celebration of all things delicious, unique, and tennis. We are eager to see the creativity that will be brought about in the next Citi Taste of Tennis in DC on July 30, 2023, and in New York on August 24, 2023. Mark your calendars!
