Houston Rockets owner, Leslie Alexander, just closed on a West Village penthouse for $25 million. At a time when some buyers are scurrying to drop their original offers, get out of contracts, or simply hold off on purchases, Mr. Alexander is proving he is a man of his word by officially closing on the Superior Ink penthouse at a price he agreed on a year ago.
The swanky new luxury building that Mr. Alexander will be calling home includes seven townhouse residences with roof terraces and 4 to 6 bedrooms each. Homes are prices at $12.95 million and up, and the building already has an exclusive list of buyers who are current in contract, including Hilary Swank, Marc Jacobs, and NASCAR star Jimmie Johnson. It has also been reported that two more celebrities were looking to call Superior Ink their home; however, Alex Rodriguez and Kate Hudson were less than pleased to hear that the penthouse was already taken my Mr. Alexander.
The basketball team owner will be getting an impressive 6,321 square feet in his penthouse and can enjoy the New York view from one of his four terraces.
