We’re just weeks away from being back in the summer season, which means it’s almost time to head out East to the gorgeous beaches of the Hamptons in Long Island. Remaining a coveted summer hot spot for years, the Hamptons always has something new to offer from the dining and drinking world each summer season, and this year is no exception. From Mexican cuisine to fresh seafood, to on-the-go, or dining in, here are three new Hamptons hot spots that should be tried this summer:

The new Mexican eatery will be debuting this summer, opening its doors on May 15th from Honest Catering the team behind iconic East End destinations including Nick & Toni’s in Easthampton, La Fondita in Amagansett, Townline BBQ in Watermill and Rowdy Hall in East Hampton. Coche Comedor will take the space formerly known as the Honest Diner, located in a prime destination at 74 A Montauk Highway in Amagansett, located across the street from sister restaurant La Fondita. Coche Comedor will stand as a year-round eatery, offering elevated Mexican cuisine highlighted by fresh, local ingredients. The restaurant will utilize a woodburning grill and rotisserie to cook roasted chickens, meat and seafood, highlighting the vibrant flavors of Mexican cuisine.
Menu highlights include littleneck clams and oysters on the half shell; fresh ceviche with fluke, clam, roasted jalapeños, lime and salsa verde; crispy pig skin with chili lime salt; a vegetarian-friendly charred cactus salad with lettuce, avocado, spiced nuts and queso fresco; and standouts like the Bone-In Ribeye steak with poblano peppers or the Pork Rib Carnitas with charred baby onions. The beautiful space was curated by Cass Calder Smith Architecture who was behind many of the group’s other beloved projects and reimagines the space by preserving the classic diner exterior but highlighting the interior with bright colors, natural light and elements to highlight the Mexican theme.
Coche will be open Wednesday through Sunday serving dinner, while the bar will be open starting at 11:30 a.m. Brunch will be served on weekends. For further information contact Coche Comedor at 631-267-5709.
BOSTWICK’S ON THE HARBOR

Bostwick’s has remained a Hamptons institution for years, serving up some of the freshest and most beloved seafood around. Due to its popularity, the brand has expanded and launched a second location opening for the 2019 season, located at the former Bay Kitchen and Bar location (39 Grann Road, East Hampton). To kick off the brand’s 27th season in the Hamptons, the second location will offer a larger space with waterfront views in its former location from 1995-2009, where it remained for 15 years as Bostwick’s Seafood Grill. Returning to its roots, the new location is bound to be a hit among the Hamptonite crowd this summer season, where guests will be able to indulge in fresh raw bar selections like clams on the half shell, oysters and tuna crudo; as well as mouth-watering dishes like garlicky mussels, steamed lobster and, of course, the famed Lobster Roll. Additionally, there will be a selection of elevated menu items including a New York Strip Steak, seafood pasta and more. The opening is planned for late May/early June, with the launch of lunch and dinner service seven days a week, with more information to come.
