Kim Cattrall Tells Sarah Jessica Parker OFF On Instagram
There are two things Kim Cattrall doesn’t need or want from Sarah Jessica Parker and that’s her friendship or support.
Cattrall did not dance around the issues she has with Parker. In a statement posted on Instagram, she made that very clear by directly “mentioning” Parker’s social media handle in the caption. Cattrall and her mother had a lot to say.
“My mom asked me today ‘When will that Sarah Jessica Parker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?’ Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear, if I haven’t already, you are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona,” said Cattrall.

The tragedy being the death of Cattrall’s brother, Christopher Cattrall, who had been missing since Tuesday, February 6.
It’s possible to believe Cattrall’s statement is also a product of Parker’s comments on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen”. During her interview, she discussed being “heartbroken,” over Cattrall’s “negative” recollection of her experience on “Sex and the City”.
Her brother was later pronounced dead.
It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall. At this time we ask for privacy but we want to thank you all on social media for your outpouring of love and support in this trying time. A post shared by Kim Cattrall (@kimcattrall) on
The last line on her Cattrall’s statement instructed her fans to an article published on the NY Post in 2017 titled, Inside The Mean-Girls Culture That Destroyed ‘Sex and the City’.
“Page Six reported how, during an Atlantic City, NJ, location shoot, ‘Sarah Jessica rented a house for herself, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. Kim was left out on her own,’” said journalist Paula Froelich in her 2017 article.
Froelich, who was shocked to find her article cited by Cattrall to support her claims, took to Twitter for comment.
When @KimCattrall specifically calls out the piece you wrote (denied by all at the time) as the reason she wants SJP to step off … ?‼️ #itsalltrue https://t.co/ON3YIQdqYY — Paula Froelich ? (@Pfro) February 10, 2018
She later retweeted an anonymous Twitter user who allegedly worked on the set of “Sex and the City” validating Cattrall’s comments.
I worked on SATC as a PA when I lived in NY 2x and all I’m gonna say is that Kim Cattrall was the nice one. — I Am an Actor (@imaworkingactor) February 10, 2018
As the outsiders, it’s hard to say who is right let alone pick sides. But, if you’re a hardcore SATC fan diving into this heated debate, ensure to do so over cocktails in true “Sex and the City” tradition. Just remember, pro or con, Kim Cattrall does not need your support or SJP’s for that matter.
